SIRENS Lyrics
SIRENS (I)
:
When you hear the sirens
And they coming for you
Tell me do you feel cold
Tell me do you feel
When you try run
Black shadows through blue
Tell me do you feel bold now baby
Tell me do you feel
:
Cold night
Black skies from blue
Baby but we all bright
Everybody got bars not reception
Handing out shots like it’s medicine
Peaking at the lights through the hedges
Me n the bredrins
Got the kicks laced starting for the exit
:
When you hear the sirens
And thеy coming for you
Tell me do you feel cold
Tell mе do you feel
When you try run
Black shadows through blue
Tell me do you feel bold now baby
Tell me do you feel
Poem Transition:
As the black sky turned magenta through rainy clouds and morning mist
Blue lights hid behind warm bursts of orange as the concrete flooded with colours from a new day
Anxiety fled the mind as the day progressed
And Cal escaped the hectic city jungle to find haven by the coast in midnight gatherings under the moon
Him and Kalei Luz began to indulge in activities of freeing their souls to create new sounds
Empty bottles and baggies lay spread across tables
While cigarettes were rolled and smoked in soft rain on the balcony
They had escaped the somber sirens for another day and it was time to unwind
:
When you hear the sirens
And they coming for you
Tell me do you feel cold
Tell me do you feel
When you try run
Black shadows through blue
Tell me do you feel bold now baby
Tell me do you feel
Poem Transition 2:
Eyes slowly opened and filled with spearing blue light through curtains
Sirens had found their secret sanctuary of the night
They scampered through windows at the back
With nothing but their freshly depleted serotonin levels from the night prior
Kalei Luz faded into black shadows cast behind trees in a constant evade of visible blue
SIRENS (II)
:
I run
When you run
From The sirens
…a little bit cold
If blue lights
Try to hide me
Under false eyes
…The real you
1:
I feel a pain
It’s like a pressure in my chest
Lack of rest, chasing z’s
Way too deep in all these meds
